DVA Occupational Therapy services in South East Brisbane & Redlands

Bayside & Brisbane OT has proudly supported veterans and war widows since 2013. We are familiar with DVA processes, referral pathways and guidelines, and we work hard to ensure a prompt, efficient and respectful service for every client.

We accept DVA Gold and White Health Cards. A referral from your GP or medical specialist is required before your first appointment.

GETTING STARTED

How to access DVA Occupational Therapy

STEP 1

Get a referral

Visit your GP or medical specialist and request a D904 referral for Occupational Therapy. If you are unsure how to do this, our admin team is happy to guide you — call 07 3666 8700 or 07 3666 8700.

STEP 2

Contact us

Once you have your referral, contact Bayside OT by phone or through our online enquiry form. We aim to see new DVA clients promptly and will confirm your appointment time as quickly as possible.

STEP 3

Home visit

Your occupational therapist will visit you at home at a time that suits you. We will assess your needs, discuss your goals, and develop a plan to help you remain safe and independent.

STEP 4

Equipment, modifications or therapy

We arrange any recommended equipment or modifications on your behalf, liaising with suppliers and tradespeople. DVA handles payment directly for eligible items — no out-of-pocket cost to you.
